Sacando la malahierba y preparando el rincon aromaticas

Hoy nos ayudaron los niños de tercer curso de primaria a sacar la mala hierba del rincón de plantas aromáticas. 

Today we were joined by a group of Primary Year 3s to help us take out the weeds from the herbal garden. 

Antes / Before

Identificamos pronto la Menta y Romero que huelen muy fuerte, pero el resto hay que limpiarlo porque quitan espacio para que crezcan las plantas aromáticas, así que fuera!!!

We identified the Mint and Rosemary herbs that smell rather strong, but the rest of the weeds take up lots of room as they grow quickly, drink a lot of water and take space and water from the other more useful herbs. So, away with them!

Después / After

Revolvemos la tierra, regamos y lo dejamos listos para plantar aromáticas a la vuelta de las vacaciones de Semana Santa.

We mixed up the soil, waterered, and left it all ready to plant aromatic herbs after the Easter Holidays.

Que bien recojen el huerto!

También hemos seguido removiendo la tierra y regando las otras macetas vacías que vamos a plantear en cuanto termine el mal tiempo.

We also kept mixing and watering the soil in the other empty plant pots which we will used to plant more once the weather improves.
